About myself and my skin disorder

Hi, my name is Frankie Ray, i live in southeastern Massachusetts with my parents. I am currently in my junior year of high school at Bishop Stang. About a year and a half ago, i started developing a skin disorder that i now know is called dermographic urticaria. I first noticed these outbreaks at the beginning of each of my classes. I thought it was something in the room that I was allergic too. As months and months went by, i experienced more stress trying to figure out what this was. I mentioned it to my parents a few times, but we rarely took action. Soon after I started having the outbreaks, i noticed i became very itchy after drying off in the shower and would spend a lot of time itching after a shower. This lead to me getting "dandruff" because of itching my head so much after a shower and before I fall asleep because of my pillow. As more time went by, more and more scenarios went through my head. I thought it could be something bad like cancer, but my real conclusion was that it was a parasite. October 2011 came around and i decided i couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to know what this was. My dad did research and came to the conclusion i had dermographic urticaria. When i found this out, i was so happy. I began drawing on my arm and everything. I went to the dermatologist on October 27th and he confirmed I have the disorder. After that I did more and more research to prevent these annoying outbreaks. I finally figured out why i have these marks on my hands at the beginning of class. It is because getting the books out of my locker, my hands would have harsh contact with the sides of the metal locker and by the time I walked to class the bumps would be formed.  Now i am cautious about contact with anything. Things have been so much better since then, but it is still an annoyance. I use this disorder for entertainment and artwork. I don't want to live with this forever. The disadvantages of having this is i can't High Jump because of the harsh landing on the mats.
